I never thought to ask until now, but we all know that providers (especially the girls that use review sites) know of the other escorts in their city. But how often do you reach out to connect and meet up with fellow escorts socially?
I assume that meet-ups are pretty common, as you exchange messages on these sites and may often find yourselves at similar functions where more than one skilled artisan is required. 
I assume it depends on the nature of the woman’s private life, but is it common for many of you girls to count other providers among your close social friends?

Makes sense. More providers probably get together than hobbyists. I've personally never met up with a hobbying contact even though we exchange emails from time to time...I think that would just be a bit strange and I'd be worried about being someone I knew from work!
I hang out with atleast one provider on a regular basis, she is my best friend. We hang out with other provider's from time to time. Us girls have to stick together in this business.

Yes, I tend to meet up with a few providers in each city that I visit. We catch up on time missed and I find out what has been going on in an area that I haven't visited for awhile. Information is power and you must have a friend or two to get information in this hobby.

I think it's really important to have female friends in the business, for advice and support.
You might try checking out The Other Board, http://www.theotherboard.com , or Bear's Board, http://www.bearsboard.com . Both sites have "Escorts Only" forums. They are private forums and you'll have to check out the FAQ on both sites in order to find out how to gain access, but it's a great way to meet other girls.

I wish I had some friends in this business but somehow I have never met another escort. I don't know how. I don't want to randomly text them cos I get annoyed by random texts myself so I don't want to annoy the girls. I would love to pick another ASPs mind and just have an asp friend who can understand and give advice and someone to laugh with and get our nails done together. Im awful for keeping up with my nails I hate going to the salon alone every week! LOL

The only time I met with other provider's led to disaster. As old-timers in the Springs I was hoping to build some comradery, however it was fueled by jealousy and an effort to get my clients diverted towards them. Since then I have learned to keep to myself because the business seems to be cut-throat. I do enjoy communicating with a few online, though!
