If this subject has been examined in the past, I apologize to all for resurrecting it, but it is pretty cumbersome searching back through 50+ screens of earlier postings.
I have seen some interesting (at least to me) Ladies advertising in the backpage.com, but they don't list a website or participate in P411, NR, TER or other similar places.
Is it considered insulting to ask a Provider for references when you cannot locate any reviews of her or if the only links in the ad are links to older ads? Is it unreasonable? How would legitimate Providers react?
I would appreciate input from the veterans out there.
Thanks
you can ask however most of the time you will get bullshit in return or a link to a mysterious review suddenly written by a newbie poster.
if they dont have reviews then you want to look at posting consistency, picture consistency, length of time ads have been posted with the same number etc.
most of the girls i see arent reviewed however i know from long experience what to look for, if your not in the same situation then stick to the reviewed ones
until your ready to go outside of the safety net.
Moebius is correct on all counts. I suspect many of those ads you referenced as piquing your interest were a result of the photos on those ads. I won't go into any percentage discussion, but I would daresay that the majority are fake pics, stock pics or really old pics. That is why you will hear veterans talk about finding a gem, because too many of those type of ads are B&S (or ripoff) in one form or another.
Agreed. No offense to ask, we are sometimes asked and readily offer a link where they can be found. But as @Mobeius said, expect to get the run-around a majority of time.
Just our 4 cents.

Speaking of bad manners - shame on me - I haven't invited Christine to post any of her pics lately. I'd say I need a good whippin, but too many of you would take me way too seriously. At any rate, I am sorry Christine - you are cordially invited to post those skimpy holiday pics of yours.
I'm rarely asked for reviews as I already link them in my ads & profiles on the sites that I participate on (which is most of the well-known sites) but if I were asked, I'd have no problem sending a link.
What I'd suggest that you do is google the contact info that you find in the provider's ad. For example if you google my phone number, you'll come up with the ads I've made on multiple different sites, my review page on TER & on troothsayerz, and some other random ads I probably made on free sites ages ago and simply forgot about. What you want to make sure of is that the phone number isn't showing up with several different names attached to it; or several different pictures in the ads that are obviously not of the same girl; I'd even go so far as to say that if there aren't any reviews, then you should probably pass. That can be tricky because everyone has to start somewhere, but if YOU are just starting out you'll be far better off seeing a reputable and established provider than trying to see a fellow newbie. That way she'll be a lot more relaxed and it won't be two nervous people at once.
)
The other thing I will say is that since you're new, if you don't have references, just be willing to provide some screening info to the girls you do contact. If you've done your homework on the provider & see that she has a good reputation, you won't have to worry about her having nefarious intentions with any of your personal info. Just use your instincts; if she comes off as batshit crazy, then by all means run the other direction, I don't care how hot the pictures are LOL. But if she has herself put together well and the info that she's asking for makes sense, you should be good to go. Just use your instincts (I know it's hard sometimes when you're faced with letting the "little head" think for you... but bear with me here) and if something doesn't seem right, move along. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and if you take your time & find the right fit, chances are you'll have a LOT better experience than if you're rushing into it and taking chances.
Good luck!

I don't recall your other posts, but well said and welcome. You apparently have been registered here awhile so glad you are posting.
@coyote - thank you!
I have been registered here for awhile but only posted an ad once or twice. I found the forums about a week ago and I've been lurking a bit and decided to start posting a little... I guess I got a little wordy there!

My sincere thanks to all of you for taking the time to consider and respond to my post with such valuable information. It seems that best path is slow and studious, with patience.
Thanks to you all again!
No issue with asking a lady if she has reviews.If she is well-reviewed and reputable she will not have any problems sending you the links to her reviews or at least pointing you in the right direction.If you see an ad that says well-reviewed and actually provides a link actually read the reviews.There are some ladies who advertise well-reviewed and even post a link to the reviews but the reviews are bad.Probably counting on a guy to not look or just take their word.Keep in mind that some advertising sites will not let ladies link reviews to their ads from other site.
Like another reply suggested I would google her info email,phone#,and website to see if reviews pop up in the search results.
When in doubt just ask and if you do not get a sufficient answer move on there will always be well-reviewed reputable ladies to choose from.
Good luck to you!

Even a less than glowing review gives information tho, the most important one being that the provider is legit. She is also not too concerned about the content of the review, which may mean that she sees in it that it can help her screen guys with some unreasonable expectations perhaps. maybe the reviewer was looking for a service she didn`t provide and got rude about it in the review, but she is ok with the info that she does not do something is verified in the review. Hard to describe, but most experienced review readers learn to filter out the whiny bitchy attitudes of some review posting styles to get to the real info on the provider herself. And as I say, the most welcome review tells the reader the provider is as advertised, legit and there were no scamming issues. The reader knows what he is looking for and what the reviewer was looking for can be completely different things, and that he would be happy to see the provider who is being dissed for the features he prefers.
katrina4you, I absolutely agree with what you're saying here. I always advise guys to look at reviews like the Olympics, and toss out the highest & lowest scores and go with the average. I'd also encourage gentlemen to read between the lines when reading negative reviews; I'm sure there are plenty of legit ones, but I'd have just as much difficulty when it came to believing a bad review filled with insulting terminology as an excellent review filled with an overly epic amount of asskissing.
The other thing I'd suggest is being realistic with your expectations. Providers are people too!
Don't play someone up in your head to the point that she'd never be able to meet your expectations. Remember that we are human, even though we're delivering a fantasy. We do have our own little imperfections, so just keep that in mind.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask, especially if you only see them on backpage as that site doesn't have any requirements for posting, just put up a pic, pay their fee & click...
If they are legit they won't have any problem with it, but I personally think it's rude to ask for a pic to be sent to your phone (this happens to me alot) & they always say they don't see anyone who doesn't send them a pic, so I pass on those calls...
Thanks

I really like this topic. It brings to mind something I have been wondering about for a while. There are some providers that advertize on higher-end sites and I can't find reviews or don't see them on verification sites. It seams hard to believe that nobody has written a review on them and seams strange with high rates that they wouldn't use a popular verification site. Any thoughts from the veterans?

I've seen one high end provider that insisted that I not review her or mention her in any forums etc..., not sure of the reason because it was all good

In some cases, certain providers prefer to work strictly on referral. Gives a whole new meaning to word of mouth, eh?

@Coyote (lol)
But yes, you are absolutely correct. We've known some providers to insist on building her business by direct, UTR referral. They typically see 1-2 gentlemen a month, and often they are travel companions.
They believe that a gentleman of such means often engages in circles where there are other men of such means. They also believe that group of men do not read reviews, do not brows forums and don't visit backpage.
It is believed that they are far to busy building their empires or enjoying their success to squander it in such places.
This is what we've heard, directly from the ladies that cater to that market, this is NOT an opinion.

No, it's definetly not unreasonable....Just tell her that her ad caught your eye but you like to do a little research before you take a chance & are interested in reading some of her reviews.
Legit, she will be happy to share, no legit, she will be offended, probably hesitate, or try for u to just take her word for it.
I ask my clients to not review (or to make sure it states I'm not fs) bc they do it on an open forum where anyone who has a computer can read & I advertise on a non sex very public non-membership site.....which again is weird, they come see me from my ad but then review me on another site under that sites rules, where a couple have bashed me cuz I don't do what the girls on that site does who know they are seeing vouched members with references...I still can't understand this...
Thanks

If they are only taking business by referral then why advertise on the high end sites? I am still missing something.
the ones they are talking about are being paid for discretion, the funny thing is those women roll just as fast as the ones
on backpage when the lawboys get em in the holding cells.
If your paying 10k and thinking they wont talk if it all goes theres a certain former governor of New York among many others
who would probably say you paid about 9,800 dollars to much for what you ended up with.
to be crude its not any wetter or any tighter at 10k then it is at 200.
@jhns99
We can't answer for them, but based on our observation and lengthy conversations with numerous ladies whose rates start at $1,500 or greater, we'll atempt to offer an opinion.
Some do advertise. However, many will only have the one ad, on that 1 highend site, more as a "credibility" thing, and partly to find that one gentlemen who may not yet be privvy to the referral network.
They will also maintain a website, so when gents refer her to his associates, they can go to her website to learn all he needs to know.
@Moebius
You may be right.
We'd like to present another line of thinking.
Assuming you are right (and assuming equal screening practices) - then wouldn't it stand to logic that a lady at the high end, who sees fewer clients and advertises a little more discreetly has odds of getting into trouble that are much lower than the avarage who advertises daily on BP and sees far more clients?
Wouldn't LE focus their efforts on the low hanging fruit?
As with any personal purchase, the buyer needs to weigh his risk / reward tolerance with his budget and do the best he can to research his options to arrive at what he feels is an optimal equillibrium.
Just our 4 cents,
