I'm sure they look at your number of reviews and figure if you see them and review them it will help them get more calls. I wouldn't complain about it, they must think they can live up to their pics and services or they would avoid you like the plague.

Agree, I don't mind getting them for exactly that reason. As long as they are in the same area I'm in....... sometimes I have to tell them thanks, but no thanks.

I also learned a lesson from one such experience. I told her that the reason I won't call her is that she doesnt offer bbbj. She said she would make an exception, so I agreed. But after we began, she informed me that she didn't offer that. Her review stated as much, and I obviously won't return.

i get them a lot too however they are never in my area for some reason.
I live in phoenix ladies its in the western part of the us next to nevada where las vegas is located.
we have a big ditch in the middle of the state that i hear people like to go look at too so if you google "grand canyon" you will find the general location.

Now I am just depressed - I rarely get any such PM's. I do get a bunch of emails for Viagara and Cialis as well as male enhancement medications. Wonder if there is any correlation....

Personally, I would never solicit for clients. Now I have contacted gentlemen that I have seen before, when I'm touring, to let them know I will be in town. But that is only if they ask me to give them a heads up, the next time I will be in town.

This is just my opinion but that sounds very classless and comes off as desperate.
There would be no reason for me to contact a hobbyist out of that clear blue sky and say "Hey,you want to see me?".
If a gent wants to see me he will look at my profile,ads,and website to see if I will be a good match for him and then book an appointment.
I have in the past sent a gent a pm if I liked something he posted on the discussion board or maybe to continue a private conversation but never to ask if he wants to see me.

I do not know the type of ladies who contacted you but I have read about this happening to the gents on several different boards.I have also contacted a gent specifically if he asked me to say for instance I am Outcall Only and was told if I ever offer Incall to let them know.Now,I am offering incall one time only so I contacted the gents that asked for me to let them know.It is up to them if they want to book an appointment or not
Whatever works for the ladies that do this it is their choice but I would be a little leery about a lady who you have never met before contacting you asking if you are interested.

I'll share my experience, for what it's worth. When I first registered in here, I had two or three providers contact me, welcome me to the site, say "hi" and generally make me aware of their presence in here in case they were my type. I traded a few polite messages with them regarding my intentions in here. After my first few days, I received no additional contact emails.

Ooh, well that may have been the "welcoming committee" email Some of us have the setting enabled, that when new members in our area join, a courteous "welcome to NR" email is sent out to them.

I have to agree with Nicole. I forgot all about that. I may have that setting enabled. Let me take a look.

Apparently that setting is quite selective or there is a coyote block feature of which I am unaware. Not that it would be a bad idea, just did not know Admin enabled that feature.

The OP is right about the welcome PMs, I received about 4-5 of them when I joined.

Usually I will say hello to hobbyists or if I see something fishy ill pm & ask about it
never for appointments.

It is a sales job,when you think about it.We say hi by PM to let guys know we are available.Men like to chase women,but we aren't a sexy girl they see in a bar.We are providing a service.Even in the real world women often approach men.Maybe men are just to shy for that.A man should feel honored that pretty women approach him.

gee when i joined as a premium member in 2011 i got welcoming letters from those in the area .. hobbyists.. but since i am a non paying subscriber? i dont get notices.. i only send out an occasional letter to those who have favorited me or sent me an email .. but i work a few days a week and will be returning to class soon and well surgerys coming up .. gonna be off to recoup and that means no bouncing the bed sheets either..

As marketers, we believe that if someone contacts us and during the course of corresponding, we can determine the email account used is for private or hobby reasons, then we often will ask if he mind that we:

1) Put him on our event notification list.
2) Put him on our "touring" list for the city he is from.
3) Ask if he is already signed up to recieve our newsletter.
4) Mind if we send him an email now and then to say "Hi"

If he contacts us via phone or text - we assume we cannot contact him, unless he clearly asks us to do so via phone. (We have maybe 10% of the gents who have done this so it does happen).

If a site (like NR) has a "welcome committee" feature, (automated welcome private message) we enable it to welcome new members, and to introduce ourselves. Our logic is that we offer something pretty different, and many of our special friends "stumble" across us when looking for something else.

We get many compliments from the gentlemen that contact us and they appreciate our follow-through. So, things aren't always as cut & dry.

I would put my money on the fact that your reviews show that you do not mind sharing a little extra if a provider has met your expectations.

I do not know which providers contacted you, so I am not implying anything negative - but when I look for new sales for my marketing company, I look for companies that are already spending marketing dollars elsewhere.

He's probably correct. And there are slow days. I don't usually ever contact a client unless I know it's going to be welcomed & then I still usually don't but it gets slow, & once in the beginning of my carreer I sent a hello text to someone & he was litterally 5mins away he called me & was so inticed he came right over for a session.
But there are downfalls, I've had several I've seen call for discounts, which I don't like to give a discount, u do it once & they always expect it & then next time it will be lower, so I personally don't like to initiate contact for that reason.
But becoming a member on these sites, is because business is slow & if I saw that someone rewards the providers if they go the extra mile I probably would try to contact them cuz he sounds like a client that I would have alot of fun with

Thanks for the info, Nicole. I had a few contact me right after I signed up. They all came at the same time and were in a style similiar to a form-letter with one saying,"Nice to meet you (or maybe we already have )". It was because of that I figured it was a setting of theirs to hit up the newbies to the site.

It is pretty trashy to solicit a reviewer to come and see them. You have to decide what you want to do with that. Alot of green providers may think it is another way to advertise themselves, but it isn't much different than randomly calling guys who you have seen in the past and ask them why don't they come and see you.

A few boards out there have strict no solicitation pms allowed policies. Any provider caught doing it is likely to see themselves suspended or removed entirely.

This is something nr does I started getting messages from hobbyist that were responses to messages sent from my account it's always the same message.
I think u can change it/ turn it off but I haven't found where yet.

Concerning the original comment, granted, I'm a newbie, but, I don't see the big deal with a provider contacting a prospective client.
Especially if they are new or don't have any, or very few reviews. It seems like providers face the same issues in getting started as us would-be newbie hobbyists do.
Why would that type of contact be in poor taste? Assuming of course she is a legit provider.

while I have never been contacted through anyone affiliated with nr or another review site, I do have an experience to share concerning this topic.
I was contacted a couple months ago via pm through a classifieds site, by a lovely girl who said she was a provider in my area, and sent me nice , clothed, pictures to my email while we were chatting, after chatting for about 15 minutes she asked if I would be interested in meeting her. When I said I would be, our chat session ended. she emailed me her rates a bit later that night, and explained that she was accidentally disconnected from our chat. Her rates were in the ballpark of what I am seeing other providers charge. She also asked when I would like to meet. I responded and explained that I was new and asked if she had any reviews or a website that I could look at to verify what she was telling me because I was new to this, and was not sure how to verify if she was a legit provider making a legit offer. I was careful to explain that I was new, and I did not want to offend her or anything, just that since she contacted me, I wanted to verify who she was. I did not receive a response right away, so I did a google search of her email address, name etc, which revealed no ads or reviews that I could find. I did locate a fb page with her name and the pics she sent me, however it said her location was chicago il.
I sent a follow up email a couple days later with that information, asking if there was a way to verify that she was who she said she was.
She only responded that she did not meet for free, and that if I wanted to see her, I would have to make an appointment like her other loyal patrons.

I never made an appointment to see her. I just got a feeling that something was not right.
So, was I just a just a dumb newb, or was I right in thinking LE or some other fake?
was there a better way to have handled this situation? Should I have asked for a nude pic or something? I have read that some providers use the trading of nude pics as a way to verify each other.
One other thought, if a provider listed on nr, has no reviews, but has posted a handful of nude pics, is that enough to prove she is at least not LE? Theres someone very close to where I work, that would be great to get to know.

On the positive side, this encounter is what led me here, where I hope to at the very least, learn

No,I would not say dumb very smart!!If you google her email and contact info and nothing comes up except for a fb page sounds very suspicious.Especially,if a lady is reputable she will point you in the right direction of her reviews or other ads on other sites.Asking for a nude pic would have not made a difference if she was not an actual provider and you showed up you will be in trouble.If a provider is listed here with nude pics and no reviews here or anywhere else I would proceed with caution.Most people recommend to gents that are newbies see well-reviewed ladies just for these very reasons you have mentioned.If you are seeing well-reviewed ladies you do not have doubt if they are real or not.A lady who has no internet presence,website,reviews she could be a new provider every one has to start at the beginning but being that you are a newbie I would not TOFFT I have seen this end not so good for the gents.
I would suggest reading these different forums here and on other similar sites you can find a wealth of info just by reading over old posts.

As soon as I registered with this site, I immediately had 5 messages in my inbox. They all looked like standard copied messages, so I assumed there was some sort of automated trigger to send these to new members. If not, then these girls were pretty damn quick to send them!
