It's not limited to India, the Mustang Ranch in Nevada is said to charge charge as much as $15,000 /night for certain specialties.

All of this stuff is relative to the income of the clientele. They're paying for the staus associated with spending so much money. I highly doubt that there's some special secret that a high priced provider knows which makes her superhuman and really worth an exorbitant rate.

In other words, Sometimes one likes to indulge in an expensive plate of caviar...But one could be equally satiated by a reasonably priced juicy burger from the corner joint. I'm a juicy burger kind of guy

Eliot Spitzer paid something like that as well, but generally outside of overpriced agencies in the largest metro markets (LV & NY) and former pornstars, $500 - $600 / hour is the top of the market. In much the same way that Victoria Secret offers a $1,000,000 diamond studed bra for Christmas, so the $78 black lace bra seems like a bargain, Legal Brothels in Nevada promote the $15,000 per night to try to upsell unsophisticated buyers from $350 dollars to $1,000.

Seems that $15,000 is low by some standards... Raffella Fico thinks sex with her is worth $1,000,000. I don't agree, but it does make $15,000 and $4,600 seem cheap.
