A Funny Story About Dating Hookers

Things had been unraveling for some time as my former girlfriend's alcohol blackouts and escalating drug usage began to turn me off. And it is quite an accomplishment to "turn off" a sex addict! LOL
When she wasn't with me, she was working and hanging out with other providers and, of course, drinking and drugging. I get a phone call on a night when I was looking forward to an evening off from her insanity.
"Did you take some money from me?" She asked.
"No, why would I do that? I have my own money... and I don't steal from single mothers. And I don't steal from my friends, " I replied.
"Well, I'm coming over," she said, indicating that the purpose of her visit was to check to see if I was lying.
Little did I know, she had called me from her car, half the distance between my place and hers so that when she arrived, I was just stepping out of the shower.
"Where's my money, bitch?" she demanded.
She claimed to be missing $15,000 from a purple velvet Crown Royal pouch. I never knew she kept her cash in a Crown Royal pouch nor did I ever see any money pouch at any time while in her home. I was always a good guest, simply there to enjoy her company, the free sex and often leaving from her place for work in the morning. And if I had seen her money pouch, the first thing I would have done would have been to recommend she do a better job of concealing it. She enjoyed drinking ginger ale and I would usually bring a 12-pack and place it in her fridge and place some flowers for her in a vase. I was in the habit of bringing ginger ale, food and flowers, not searching for things to steal.
"You think I would steal money from you??" I was in a complete state of disbelief. "I don't even know where you keep it!"
"Yeah, bitch! Now give it back!" she screamed. "You took it our of my Crown Royal bag, the purple one."
"Tell you what. Let's call the cops and have the cops search my place for your money. Are you willing to do that?" I asked.
She was game. Immediately, she called the cops and reported me for stealing $15,000 from her. The police arrived immediately because the police station is a block from my place. I naively thought this would be the perfect way to exonerate myself without escalating the situation.
The police arrive. In walk two of the dumbest cops I have even seen, including on television and in the movies. First, they made us both sit on the floor in the hallway of my building while one of them talked on his radio and the other searched my apartment. Next, I was brought inside as the other cop questioned her seperately in the hallway.
"Look, officer, the reason I asked her to call you guys is so that you could look around and assure this woman that I do not have her money." I said.
"Well, we believe you just might have her money but aren't telling us." the dumb bastard said. "You might have some control issues and we're gonna get to the bottom of this." Suddenly, he's a psychologist.
Meanwhile, in the hallway, she told the other cop that she was a hooker! She claimed I was her john and that I stole $15,000 from her home. Although she NEVER charged me for sex, I once offered to pay her for an early morning session, after which, she asked me never to pay her again. Apparently, it did not sit well with her and I agreed not to offer payment again. But the cops didn't need to know that.
To make matters worse, she has a handler/boss/pimp to whom she referred as her "client from Houston." According to her, this scumbag allegedly came to Denver and roughed her up, leaving bruises on her lower back. This jerk had focused his aggression on her lower back because she was suffering chronic pain from an auto accident and he knew it was a tender spot. Well, the bitch shows the cop her bruises, not saying they originated from me, but certainly implying it.
The other dumber cop walked in and said, "If not for the fact that those bruises are from an incident outside of Denver County, we could take you to jail right NOW!" he spewed, with righteous indignation.
"I never laid a finger on her! She told that me that a 'client from Houston' gave her those bruises. I don't beat women." I said.
The dumber cop continued, "...And she just admitted to me that she is a hooker. That gives her some credibility. I am tending to believe her story more than yours, buddy."
I said, "Look, I get up and go to work every morning. I fix medical equipment and I make a decent income at it. I don't need to steal. I would never steal money, especially from a woman I was dating!"
Just then, the dumb cop walked out of my bedroom waving my checkbook in his hand, acting as if he just found treasure trove of incriminating evidence. Good going, Columbo!
"What's this? Here's a carbon of a check made out to a woman for $1,600?" he asked in a tone dripping with innuendo.
I responded, "Officer, when that check was written, I was still dating someone else. Because she was down on her luck, I decided to give this other woman a gift of $1,600. You can see it was made out to a completely different individual."
Funny, how an act of pure generosity from 5 weeks prior can convince the moronic cop that I was more likely to have stolen the $15,000. One plus one equals eleven!
The dumber cop chimed in, "The city of Denver can confescate your condo for participating in the crime of prostitution. Did you know that?"
"This woman is my girlfriend, and as of tonight, she's my ex-girlfriend." I stated.
Dumber tried to intimidate me: "Well, this woman admits to being a hooker. You are therefore a john and you are breaking the law!"
"Officer, I can show you e-mails on my computer that reflect the nature of our relationship and it wasn't-"
"Oh, 'reflect'. Now we're getting fancy aren't we?" he interrupted. I never realized what a pretentious world 'reflect' was until that night.
What I was trying to suggest to Dumber, is that in a court of law, my e-mails would effectively prove that we had a relationship. She had e-mailed me questions such as why her occupation did not bother me. We talked about being in love, etc. In other words, this was EVIDENCE that I was not a john to her.
What I did not tell Dumb and Dumber was that this lady was prone to memory lapses. Constantly in an alcohol blackout, she wouldn't remember where or how she put a new dent in her car. One night she was crying, repeatedly going down to her car to check for evidence (or lack thereof) that she had killed someone, looking for either hair or blood on her bumper and grille! One particular night, she was having vague memories of hitting "something" while going through a fast food drive-thru. Her next foggy memory was of some people running after her, waving their arms at her as she sped away. Crying, she kept wondering aloud whether or not she had "hit a chica," since the people waving their arms at her were Hispanic. She had no memory as to the reasons why. This is who was standing in my home, accusing me of stealing $15,000. A drunk and drug addict who used her car to cop drugs and buy fast food... during blackouts.
Back to my ordeal. Officer Dumb then looked at her and asked her to find a ride home since she didn't appear capable of driving. She made a phone call and then cried after she realized I wasn't being taken to jail for stealing her $15,000 and for being donnydark, Denver's hobbyist extraordinaire (and frequent-offender john).
Once Dumb and Dumber were gone, I went outside. I didn't see her car. I can only assume that she drove off into the night.

V - the simple answer is to your question is a question in of itself. Who is to judge what constitutes stupid?
Personally, I think we are. If I find a thread to be particularly stupid (personally subjective), then I don't reply. I would not have done so in this one until we ventured into the realm of banning that which we don't like.
Also, for those new coming to NR and participating on this board - what brought them here and gave them the comfort level to post? If NR changes the forum with a more involved mod, would this attract newer members or would this chase off current posters? I think what is happening on the oThER board and the greater degree of involvment by staff/mod in its forums is chasing away more than they are bringing in. (Of course that oThER board has many more issues than just over-zealous mods too.)
As for a dedicated political/religion board - what value does that discussion bring to the hobby? Aren't there enough of those type of forums already? IMHO, it simply opens up NR to attract more non-hobby right and left wing stupidity.
Just my $.02.

Haven't been around for awhile so I'm just catching up on the emails errr threads. I don't see anything wrong with the OP on this one but I think the other post he mad (too long for me to even finish reading) was completely off subject. That said, it didn't bother me particularly either. I don't care if someone wants to start a post about a good recipe for apple pie, after all, if I'm not interested I don't have to click on it. Maybe that's just me.

I have a good job repairing medical devices. I own my own loft condo in an historic buliding next to downtown Denver. I have no children and pretty much do whatever I want, whenever I want. I hobby frequently and have been rotating two lovely UTR ladies, one of whom spends many hours with me for a fraction of what most providers charge.
Also, I have good friends and fascinating things happen when we get together-- phone calls from ET's, faucets turning on by themselves, lights in the sky, etc. But then these things are not in your experience so I must be lying, right?
Life couldn't be better. Sure, I have some memories of a few psycho hookers whom I dated but that's not a problem.

I felt that by contacting the police, I prevented a bad situation from escalating into something worse. You are pretty good at second-guessing strangers and saying things that are 100% false. You should go into politics.

Thank you. It seems that meth use is at epidemic levels. When you've dated someone for a few months and then you see that they've been using, you don't run. I think it is more compassionate to see if they can turn their life around.
Unfortunately, it is not easy to quit some drugs, and a person will never quit until they are fully ready to do so.

Do I like DD's posts? Nope. Do I want him banned? Nope. Whle I am; and admittedly have been. the first to complain to admin about OT posts and TOS issues for habitual and aggregious posting, I recognize that as a double edge sword, In this instance, he did not violate any forum TOS I can see. So, as much as some would like, he has as much right to make his on-topic posts as any other. Where does admin draw the line - banning his on topic posts, banning a post about a childhood actor getting arrested., or banning a plea for Green-skinned orion slave girls?

I was never m,ean towards you. If being nice means that i have to blindly believe every word you say, then no I won't ever be nice to you. The book is out and doing very well. I also transcribed the hypnotic regressions word for word. Two different books, one is out, the other is not. You don't pay attention worth a damn.
