i am getting ALOT of emails from people i know and people i don't know demanding to know who the provider was that set you up.

im very uncomfortable naming anyone and have refused to do so, even with friends of mine so its causing me some tension.

Tough situation to be in Ana. While the guy sounds like he is reporting a legit episode, how can you tell that he just wasn't a jealous hobbyist trying to screw over her business? Obviously, if he's telling the truth you should post the escort's name.

if he can give you some evidence that his story is indeed verifiable then the provider needs to get light of justice shown upon them.

i think in this case, the guy was telling the truth, although i havent seen any proof.

i’ve chosen to further modify the hobbyist survey to take out any questions regarding the identity of the escort involved in the sting.

although the information would be helpful to both escorts and clients, because of the potential for abuse, i believe it will be more harmful than helpful... i refuse to accept the responsibility that comes with making the determination of whether or not someone is telling the truth...

i will allow the upload button to stay for now, if someone wants to submit documentation proving someone’s involvement, i will publish it as it is submitted to me UNLESS, i suspect it is being abused and then i’ll nix that part too.

if any part of the site is being used to harm escorts more than help them, it will be deleted.

if you think i'm being "unfair", then please do spend some time reading the survey results and allow that word to be re-defined for you.

most of the busts seemed pretty run of mill bad luck or poor planning/decision making however if as our friend in Illinois clams a well reviewed highly vetted provider is now working with the cops then im glad im not in illinois.

it wont last long however a few people will see it especially if you drop your post on saturday afternoon. only takes a few to get the rumor/grapevine rolling.
for something that important i would burn an account to get it out.

comment gets deleted.. user account gets banned... guy gets harassed and threatened and his credibility destroyed.

Anyone else feel the hobbyist forume should be for hobbyist, and not for providers? That they should have theirown forum to converse in, and we should have ours. It is very difficult to speak freely when you know you might piss off a provider, and no one wants to that.

Well anna I like what you contribute, but many other escorts ar4e using our forum to advertise or defend/insult and it is making it painful to participate. So the above mentioned comment was not directed at you at all, but more so, many others.

I think it's nice to be able to mix it up and get input from the providers as well. As long as they aren't just blatantly advertising themselves I don't have a problem with it. It can be handy to get the female viewpoint on things from time to time. I agree that some providers are a bit over-zealous to market themselves on here but I think most of us see right through it and ignore.

I just read three of the surveys on there and not surprisingly, none of the three had asked the hobbyist for references. I don't have the time to read any more right now but it's interesting reading. Have you noticed that a lack of references is often a factor in the arrest ana?

I do like the contributions certain providers, like Ana, make to these forums, but there are a few that really get to me. Sometimes I find it hard to speak freely when I know so many providers from the city I live in, Phoenix, are always reading what I write, "guy talk". These are girls I have seen, or planned to see, and it just makes it akward for me. Maybe if there were not so many local girls I would not feel the same, but there seems to be more girls from Phoenix in the forums then any other city combined, and this is in the national section.
Then there is all the advertizing....
an example was a thread about men shaving there butt hair and the best way to go about it, and I did not think it was possible for a women to actually contribute to this topic......sure enough a comment by a women came on about how she has takes appointments to shave mens butt hair....and it could be erotic and fun!

Some of us only comment when it's necessary. One look at my posting history will back that up.

thanks man, it seems like everything I say pisses them off. I defend myself it pisses them off worse. I prove myself, then all hell breask loose. I don';t say anything, then they keep attacking. I hobby to get away from stress and drama of bitchy women.

Problem is that providers have more incentive to do whatever it takes to defend themselves. They know that reviews are the best way to making more money so a negative review, justified or not, can be very damaging to their business. As we've seen, they'll do anything to obscure the facts to protect their business. I'd probably do the same thing. As a hobbyist, I think I'll take the word of someone with 14 reviews that appear legit over a provider who simply has too much at stake to accept a mediocre review....funniest thing about this whole controversy is that I read your review Turtleboy and if I were in Phoenix I would have gone to see Virginia as it's a pretty good review. Probably 1% of providers deserve 5 star reviews as those scores should be reserved for extremely open-minded super models with incredibly high sex drives.

yep. It's good to know that these kinds of things can be discussed. It's a shame that people have to fight about it but I would be crossing her off my list as well. I think we've just seen what happens behind the scenes of "other" review sites. Crazy how providers stick together no matter what.

This entire thread has been an eye opener, about review sites, about provider relationships, and about true colors within people, going beyond the image and into the "off the clock" personalitys. I have gone from feeling personally attacked and stomped on, to enlightened with a new perspective, a women that was one if the first names I would recomend, as you can see in other threads, now has left me with a real bad taste in my mouth. So much that my own review is no longer accurate, I wrote I would definately see her again, and I can honestly say, I hope to God I don't. In all fairness, it is not becuae of the peformance, or "on the clock" attitude, or even appearance, it would be soley becuase of what has happened over the last 2 days, and my new enlightened perspective.

I've also seen the ones where there were references - and the thoughtful, resourceful provider STILL got busted after other girls said "oh, yeah, I've seen him, he's great!"

Makes me stick with my "I never say I do ANYTHING but what I'm licensed for" method.

Of course, reviews still make it risky... especially since I link them from my website. Oh, well...

All review sites have the disclaimer that the reviews are only fantasy. But I am sure the cops see right through it, I wonder when it comes to the court of law, if obviousness vs technicall legality what the outcome is. If a provider or hobbyist is in court, and the reviews associated with that person are brought forward as evidence, if simply saying that the site makes all entries be agreed that it is fantasy only, if the judge would laugh and say we are not that dumb, or if they go the technicaly legal route?

Phoenix appears to be the epicenter of a lot of stuff this year. Other areas have their own issues to be sure, but folks in Phoenix (both hobbyist and provider) seem expecially sensitive. TB did not call out Virginia in this thread, yet he did suffer a negative response. For whatever reason, that is just harassment. Folks, disagree all you want - but remember what type of forum you do so and please, keep it to one thread. Carrying over the ill will from one thread to the next will ultimately stop new people from popping in, and hence, eventually leading those participating in the sniping left with no one reading and/or participating in their posts.

ATL suffered its own headline scandal and while I really like our hobbying community, it really still hasn't recovered or forgotten the fallout. Grudges emerged and still flair up way too often.

not always. they have references more often than you might think.

sometimes the reference is just a girl with an eros ad, you call the # and get the ok.
sometiems the girl is established with years and years of online history but she got busted recently and noone ever heard about it and she gives the reference.

this happened to a friend of mine recently and it was the reason i developed the site.
we cant come forward to share our experiences, so we dont really know what the factors are.
