I've never been with a provider but after sporadic research I've found one I really like. She requests screening -- which makes sense. She recommends the Preferred 411 site, but I see it's like $69 yearly. Are there any free sites? I really don't want to incur extra expenses/paper trails...what other screening methods are there? (Other than meeting with a few less-stringent providers and having THEM verify me?) Thanks!

I Do not know of any at this time.............
many times providers will discount u the 1st or 2nd time
for having to subscribe to a screening service.
They are always billed discreetly

Seriously, if the provider has several recent good reviews (when in doubt, PM the reviewer and ask directly) you can be sure your information is safe with her.

I suggest you just email her from your work email address, with your real name. If this sounds crazy for you, I can only tell you that tons of guys do it all the time. Personally, I love it - in some cases (it depends on a few other factors) that's all I need.
If you don't want to do that you'll have to look for someone else.

A girl who has good reviews would never endanger her good reputation by harassing you.

She just wants to be sure you're not a cop.

There are only three verification sites that are legitimate: P411, DateCheck, and RS2K. All charge and depending on your area, they are worth paying for.

PP909 - Just a suggestion, - take a look at ladies that interest you BEFORE you sign up for a screening service. It has been my observation that different locales seem to favor on of the three verification sites that JJ listed above. A freebie verification site kinda defeats the purpose of validating legitimacy. In my area, RS2K is hardly ever used so it would not be a good choice for me. Typically, the ladies' contact page on their websites or landing page identify which service(s) they accept.

Also, since you say you have never been with a provider - take a look at the newbie info. (Note to Gary - I do not know how to post to this info on this forum - a lil help please) You might want to take a look at some of the other threads for some useful info as well.

Lastly, if you are obviously intererested in seeing a provider, $69 is a small price to pay to get peace of mind for both you and the ladies. In fact, I recco to all newbies that they start with a VIP membership to such sites as NR and others. It may not help 100% of the time, but usually translates into a better session for most, i.e. knowing that some basic criteria of legitimacy in an illegitimate endeavor has been met. Stay safe!

Good advice here. RS2K is really only worth it if you are in Illinois like me.

And actually on preferred411 a lot of providers give you a discount because they save a lot of time - they don't have to screen you.

If you just make 2 appointments that year, you have your membership paid.

I'm about to raise my rates, but will leave them where they are for preferred411 guys.

In my experience you can usually bypass the verification service if you are forthcoming with personal information. It depends on how much info you are comfortable giving to a complete stranger. Also, a nice short introductory email can often go along way.
