I'm an older gentleman and would like to hobby as I've been divorced for quite a while. Where is a good starting point and how much should I expect to pay? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the hobbyist KatDadi. There are other posters on this board who have far more experience than I do in the matter but I'm happy to lend a helping hand. To get started, the most important thing is to do your research by searching for reviews on the provider you are interested in and making sure she is for real. Once you've determined that she's legit, give her a call and discuss setting up an appointment. Depending on the provider she may want to screen you by getting information out of you like where you work, what your address is etc.. It is not appropriate to ask her in-depth questions about the exact services she provides as this can be considered rude and also she may think that you are LE. I would strongly urge that you see a previously reviewed provider to begin with because that way you know what to expect beforehand--leave the experimenting to the more experienced. As for how much you should pay, that really depends on the type of provider you are looking for and the level of service. A good benchmark is between 200 to 300 per hour for a professional provider who has a relatively full menu although some charge less than that and provide an equally good service. I hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions as you enter the hobby.

I'm glad katdadi asked and you answered, JustaJohn, because I've been wondering about the same things. It's been a "few" years since my divorce and I haven't ventured back out - just too many hassles. I keep rolling over the idea of dating vs. cutting out all the BS and seeking professional help. (That's what my wife suggested but I don't think she had the same thing in mind!) LOL But I have a question. What if I just want to wade in gradually and don't feel ready to get more than a (hopefully good) BJ? If I shouldn't ask details . . how do I find out what to expect and what to pay?

Looking at her reviews will tell you what she does and doesn't do. Most good providers want nothing more than for you to leave satisfied. If you only want a BJ, that is all you ask for when you see her. Never mention any services or $$ on the phone with her. You are paying for her time and if you set up for an hour, it's your time but you are going to pay her hourly rate no matter what you request.
Hope this helps.

Yeah . . ChoochOh. That helps. I'm making this a lot tougher than it needs to be, I guess. Maybe I need a shift in my thinking or less thinking and more doing? Except now I'm thinking I should make better use of that time. Eye-wink

Most of the providers I see turn out to be not only providers of sex but providers of companionship. I usually set up hour sessions and sometimes I am sexualy spent after 30 minutes, and sometimes longer. After I've popped, we just lay there and cuddle or caress each other while chatting. It really does turn out to be a true GFE.

Good providers will generally accommodate whatever you fancy. You shouldn't have any problem seeing a provider and only receiving a BJ and as a matter of fact it might even cost you less!

Research, reserarch, research. I personally started with amp, then went to lingerie modeling, then to incall. Love all of them. wish I could afford one of each every day!
good luck.

Research is definitely your best friend on this one but I occasionally take a chance and see a new provider with no reviews. If you do that you have to be prepared for disappointment although the majority of the times I've taken a leap of faith I've been pleasantly surprised.

Welcome to the forum looking. There is some good information on how to get references found here: http://www.naughtyreviews.com/forum/hobbyist-hangout/verification-servic... . If you read right through the thread you'll see that while some suggest signing up and paying for a verification service, others say it isn't necessary. My own advice to you would be to either start off with less high end girls, treat them well, and ask them for references. Or try and pick a well reviewed girl and provide her with as much information you are comfortable with in a nice email and you might find she'll make an exception. Let me know if you have any further questions after you've read the link I provided.

If you don't mind giving out details like your driver's license (with the number scratched out), your employer, and your home phone number, then you can probably get a date with most providers. Write her a long email with that information and tell her about yourself. If she feels you are legitimate, you may find that she won't require any further screening. Remember that providers screen to make sure that you aren't a psycho and also to make sure that you aren't a cop.
