That said, if you are put off by such things, I would imagine that a provider would take out her piercings during your session – after all, the session is all about pleasing you.

I'm a traditional guy and don't like tattoos or piercings. I don't mind a pierced belly button or a small nose stud but the rest are a major turn off for me. I think Gary's right about this being a fashionable thing to do but I've also heard that nipple and clit piercings can enhance sexual arousal for the lady in question. I would try and find a provider without piercings but I highly doubt that a provider would be upset if you asked her to remove them for your session.

Go ahead and ask her! Shouldn't be offensive... you can just say you'd prefer if she took them out before meeting you - and if you say that you don't want to offend her, she sure is ok with it and will appreciate that you are considerate of her feelings.

I'm not a big fan of piercings in general but I can handle a small nipple piercing more than I can handle a pierced clit. It just seems like self-mutilation to me. This pic for example is a total turn off for me:
