I'll acknowledge Farrah Fawcett, but c'mon folks MJ? Did everyone forget that not only is he a plastic surgery nightmare, he's also a child molester?

Well, he was never convicted although it certainly tainted his image. Growing up I was a big fan of the Jackson 5 and then thriller. I stopped listening to him after he went all freaky with the surgery but I guess it just makes me feel old knowing that someone I grew up listening to has passed on. Most geniuses have a dark side--Picasso was a son of a bitch but he sure could paint.

Maybe I have come across as too harsh. MJ was a good performer when he was still black--yup, I said it black. Actually, I enjoyed the music of the Jackson 5. Granted he was never convicted, but how many times does one invite a bunch of kids for sleepovers before it becomes suspicious that any one would do such things. Wouldn't it be saner to build places for underprivileged kids (and visit those facilities) rather than sleep with them? How about when he dangled his infant over a balcony railing? Yes, Picasso was a genius painter and we admire his paintings. So admire MJ's earlier songs, but don't go gaga over his death.
