Being a northern transplant to GA - I was floored when I made the acquaintence of not one, but two couples in RL that were first cousins. Kinda' creeped me out. Despite my family roots being a couple of generations removed from WV, I can assure you that based on my family reunions there, clearly - they have no respect for this particular law.

In minnesota WI kali and other states with a hi pop of hmong people they marry their cousins all of the time. I dont think they put allot of effort into stopping it i think because they are a minority group .
IMO its not for me but whatever floats ur boat.
