Looking forward to hearing more about Rio. Is the "pickup club scene" there similar to the Thai beer bar/go-go scene with accompanying "terms of engagement"? Or is it a different animal entirely?

I'm interested in visiting Rio. Please advise on the right process and best places.

Thanks for the post War R Knight. I haven’t been to Thailand but I’m not surprised to see it at number one on the list because I’ve heard it is incredible. I personally found Amsterdam to be pricey and low mileage especially after they switched to the Euro so I’m not sure that I can agree with Amsterdam at number 3. I’ve been to RIO and my favorite thing about it was that it was so easy to pick up providers and civilian girls and they are all willing to do pretty much anything.

One city that is definitely missing here and one that should be on the top of every hobbyists place to go is Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve been down there a couple of times and the place really is a hobbyists dream. They have the typical Latin American “Strip Clubs” where the girls don’t actually strip but rather offer themselves for take out. In my own personal opinion, these places are pricey ($150 to $300) and there is much better value at the countless numbers of incall apartments found throughout the city. The going rate at these apartments ranges from about $20 to $75 and everything is on the menu. The best thing about these places is that they are set up more like brothels and you get to choose the girl you want to be with when you arrive.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Argentina, the women are amongst the most beautiful in the world and are usually of Italian/Spanish heritage. The country is really cheap and the food is great. I couldn’t recommend a better place for high quality economical vacations!

I have to say I have not been to Argentina... just a slight oversite that I will fix at first opportunity. However, if the take out pricing in Argentina is as you say, you better get back to Rio. I find the "take out" providers in Rio more similarly priced to Buenos Aires incall apartment providers. The real way to go in Rio is to find a 4 star apartment that costs roughly half of a hotel, then "hobby" your way on down to the termas. I've found a travel agent specializing in such trips. Sounds like I'll have to check that out on my next trip down south war R. Thanks for the tip. I do recommend that you visit Argentina as well because the girls are outstanding. You just have to stay out of the high class hooker bars because those places always require that you pay a big chunk of cash to the house before they let you take the girl out and they also make you buy the girl over-priced drinks just for talking to her. If you speak a bit of Spanish as I do, then you can order some great take out over the phone for about 30 to 50 bucks. The girl might not speak English but for that price, does it really matter!

I've hardly been to any of the places on your list but I sure hope I can someday! I live pretty close to the Canadian border and I'm surprised that neither Montreal nor Toronto are on that list. When I can, I pack up the car and take a road trip to Montreal where the girls are exotic and open minded. French girls drive me crazy! I find that most of them do BBBJ without any pressuring and they also speak great English. My favorite thing to do in Montreal is to start out the night at a strip club where the dances are excellent before heading back to the hotel for a wild night with a sexy French girl. While the prices are way more than you guys say it costs in Argentina and Brazil, they are pretty competitive by North American standards. My vote goes to Montreal!

Tijuana as number two is an absolute joke as far as I'm concerned. I visited a friend in San Diego last year and we ended up taking a trip south of the boarder. We had fun and I'd say that Tijuana is one of the best cities in North America but that's not really saying much. No way does Tijuana compare to Bangkok, Rio, or Brazil. I think Tijuana is always rated so highly because guys who have never been out of the States think it's the bees knees.

I agree, no way is Tijuana the second best city in the world for hobbying.

Agreed, plus it's probably much more dangerous there in TJ than any other places on the list.

Now what we need are some stories about people's experiences in those places...a lot of us haven't been to many of those places, so it would be great to hear about it.

As I mentioned in this tread a couple of months ago, Argentina is definitely worth a visit. Good wine and lots of good meat! I've heard some say that they have the highest number of brothels in the world in Buenos Aires.

Personally, I spend a lot of time in the Caribbean. Sex work is legal on several islands. The Netherlands Antilles are the best. The largest legal brothel in this hemisphere, Campo Alegre, is in Curacao. St. Maarten and Aruba both have several legal brothels. The Dominican Republic is a hobbyists paradise. Costa Rica, Colombia and Venezuela all have plenty of action.

These places are all close to the US and are affordable. You can often get a 5 - 6 day dive package to Curacao including airfare, hotel and dives for $ 1000-1500 total. Add a rental car and some pocket cash and you can play at Campo in your free time.

Sounds like a paradise. What is the average provider like in the Netherlands Antilles Pogo and what would you say the average cost is? I went to Dominican and the girls were nice but most of them were black girls. I'm not racist I just prefer lighter skinned Latinas to the darker ones. Are the girls more open minded in general? Are there lots of Dutch girls there? (I like them!)

In Puerto Rico prices are from 150 and up, the average being 250 bucks. And most providers are bilingual

Is that per hour? I figured Puerto Rico would be cheaper as I thought it had a lower cost of living in general...never been there though.

Usually donations varies from 160 - 300 for one hour 275 - 700 for two hours. It depends on what the provider offers

So from what I've heard there are definitely more economical places in the Caribbean like DR or Cuba.
