Hey guys have you thought about starting a place to get feedback on the Beta Version? It would be nice to pass along thoughts as they occur?
For instance, when looking at the bottom of a provider's page, you now have the moving strip of profile photos to link to similar women - can you add a pause button?
When reviewing escort profiles from the home page, can you add more sort options, along with ascending/descending for those sort options.

Hi anchorman, what other types of sorting options would you like to see?

Good idea, actually I thought there was a way to do it. I will look into it.
I'd like to see the ability to sort by distance to my registered zip code. Other than that, the beta looks good to me. I really like the feel of the provider's page.

The profile page is my favorite part too...glad you agree. We have "sort by distance" for massage parlors and strip clubs but decided to leave it out for escorts as it is incredibly unreliable (they will rarely put in a location due to safety).

I just checked and you can pause it by simply hovering your mouse over a profile.

So when on the Home page, I love the new look and how we can sort on a number of "newest" when arranging Escort profiles. But for me being in LA and opening up an escort sections with over 1100 profiles can be a daunting and potentially time consuming to view all or even most in a given sitting. As an example, when you select highest rated, you may get an escort who has 5 stars from a one time reviewer, and both her profile and the 1 review are from 1 or 2 years ago. SO, maybe once sorted on highest rated, we then have the sub sort of most reviewed or sorted by most recent which have the benefit of putting you at profiles which are both most recently active and a well reviewed provider. Since as I understand it, a provider may not be aware that they have a profile on here, there is a small chance that some of the info may not be up to date. OTOH there is also a small chance that the profile and review of a woman may have be placed by the provider themselves or her "management", and may not represent actual experiences. In the final analysis, since having the reviews available to us as a means to review then choose a provider, being able to manipulate the database to place the profiles we are most interested in would be a plus.
Other sort options might include any or all of the specific attributes which are already part of a Provider's description, Ethnicity, body type, etc.
Just a thought.
I've noticed the grey icons in the upper right corner of the profile listings, is there a legend with a description for each icon?

Thanks for explaining. We will be adding more "Provider description" filters and already have some in there if you click on the "advanced search" button on the new design. Also, you can sort by most reviewed and then select "active in last 90 days" which should give you a pretty good result. Personally, I find it best to sort by "newest reviews" and then add a filter or two like "blonde" or "thin" as that gives all active escorts with the characteristics I'm looking for.
One thing I noticed is that not all of the provider's "services" aren't listed in the beta version. I can filter by services on the city page, but when I look at the individual profile, those services aren't listed. It affect me when I go straight to my favorites w/o going through the city first. I forgot why I made some my favorite.

We've received a lot of feedback about the listing of services on the profiles and have decided to stop displaying them in the new version. Upon much thought we feel that this will make the site a safer place for all involved especially for providers.

We should probably put a legend up. They are a bit abstract. The pencil means it's a review, the newspaper means a classified ad, and the discussion box is for comments. You should be able to tell what they mean by looking at the title of the post.

One of the positives about listing services was that it helped in the selection process for a provider, especially when they didn't explicitly list those services in their ad, or website, and especially after someone had reviewed the provider and listed their experience. So the unintended downside might be questions from newbies over the phone about services which will result in most cases with a hang up according to many who post in the forum.
I do applaud generally the attempt to increase safety out there.

You are correct and we are trying to balance safety with convenience. We thought long and hard about this and feel that the positives outweigh the benefits. We can of course tweak this as necessary.
I've noticed that in the Beta Version in the Forum section, when I check out threads marked with a red new indicator that in fact I have read them before. Also I will click on the "New" hyperlink which always took me to the newest post previously, but doesn't always work currently.
I have even used the "mark all topics read" button, but will have those threads come back as unread the next time I log in.
Is that functionality working properly?

I will take a look and test. Does this happen in the old version or only the beta version?

I have been seeing this as well, in both versions.

I haven't gone back to the old version since I was given the Beta, so I don't know that answer.
FYI, I am still experiencing the formerly read posts showing up as "NEW", but fewer of them.

I'm still trying to replicate the problem.

Without the Services listed, the value of NR's services are seroiusly degraded. I will probably not renew my membership under the new format.
Don't like the new version at ALL!!! Don't mess with a good thing!!
Really missing the "services" section as well... If a provider isn't comfortable listing services or has any safety concers etc let them opt out of listing them, but I really thinks its a mistake to all out disable them. Just my 2/cents
I like the new version with the little bit of extra info on the ladies besides just the picture. The advance search feature is also nice, think it was available before but if we could lock those preferences in to our account it wold make searches faster. Also I have had some problems where it would drop the filters and I would have to start over.

Hello Ladies, I am probably older than the average hobbiest (around 61) but stay in pretty good shape by jogging 3miles on alternate days. I fly for a major airline and therefore able to visit many exciting cities. As you may have experienced the airline schedule is not always set in concrete with changes caused by weather and mechanical issues. For that reason I hope you will bear with me when my plans are altered.
I am a southerner and as such like to take things nice and slow (up to a point) and generally would like to spend 60 to 120 minutes together if the "Price is Right". I also enjoy providing quality reviews after our encounter.
Looking forward to visiting with you soon.

That's a good idea, I'll look into that. Thanks.
Is it me, or is the font in the reply area (while we are drafting the response) smaller than the font in the general thread area? Ahem, it makes it a little harder on us "more mature" gentlemen whose eyesight is not what it used to be. What is the default font size in the reply section, and can it be increased a tad - thanks.

It looks the same to me. Either way, I'll have it increased in size a bit. Thanks for letting us know.
I know what he is talking about. Whether you hit reply to a post, or just go to the bottom of the page in the reply dialogue box, the text size or font in that box, before you either preview or post it, is much smaller than the actual font size on the web page itself. Does that make sense?
Regarding the font size - I, too, have noticed this. I have been relegated to doing a lot of preview before I post to better check for typos. (And even then, I miss a lot) Also, is their a spell checker option that can be added to the posting process? If it is already there, I am obviously not seeing it.
Does the text size look better now?
Coyote, if you use Firefox or Google Chrome they both have spell check built in. I'm not sure whether Internet Explorer has that option though.
