I'm concerned with the fact that there's no real verification to prove whether or not a site member is an actual provider or not to access the escort only forum.
Its very easy to set up a bogus profile here.

I am not affiliated with the administration of this site, so just my opinion as a member.....

Ladies - every major national / international review site has visibility to their forums whether one is a member or not. This particular site is not based in US so it is actually a little safer with private information. I believe Yahoo group members require an invitation to join, kinda similar to FaceBook group options. How is a site such as this to contact people with invites to join? This site seems to be growing and participation seems to be increasing, so it is unlikely they would wish to change visibility to what people see; lest they run the risk of reducing this growth trend (i.e. - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.)

As for the escort only board/forum - as a guy member I have no visibility to that section so I can't offer up any insight as to verification methods. However V - if there is a way for me to eavesdrop in on y'all's private postings - please PM me. I just know y'all are talking about me....

Now all together ladies - "we weren't talking to you so STFU." But please post that with a smile.

Seriously, I am sure Support has its reasons and whether they react or not, they do seem quite receptive to listening.

With yahoo groups.. most group owners go by how old the members yahoo acct is and if the person has references or not. with the one i am owner of.. its by member id where the hobbyist is verified thru or if he met so and so provider, her reference of him .. makes it okay for him to join..

the guys who say i want to meet new friends or i think its great you got this group are denied and referred elsewhere.. and i wasnt talking about you COYOTE either..

it would be cool if the forum board was shut down to its present members .. safe guard our posts but leave the providers profiles with reviews open to others..

dont remember what NR wanted when I joined this site in Sept 2011..
but they should ask for a providers references .. a hobbyist who can say yes ( suzy) is a provider.

Sweetpeach - go to the provider section - I have zero doubt that many there would tell you that you should have been talking to me in terms of denying access. Hey, I am a big boy (figuratively speaking) - I may be many things, but I won't dish it out if I can't take it. You know, ever since I started posting on adult boards it has dawned on me just how many sayings have double innuendos that just are not right in my case.

BTW, thank you for clarification of yahoo groups. With respect to DC and P411, I thought they were trying to start up forums, but did not think they actually got them off the ground.

I understand your point about open access, I respectfully have a different opinion. Be interesting to hear Support's perspective on this.

@Coyote-From my knowledge P411 and DC has boards where providers can post ads.. no forums where they can post like on NR here.. as for the adult groups on yahoo regarding escorts other than my own group on there.. we allow hobbyists to join providing they have a DC or P411 member id or who have provided a escorts reference of them .. to join .. my groups rule is only hobbyists and providers in the usa can join as we dont have oversea providers in there..

Like with TER.. you have to be a member to see their forum boards but you have to be VIP member to get to see your mailbox on that site.. i refuse to pay 20.00 a month for vip status there.. thats in my opinion....

Thanks for the suggestions. We will be tightening things up a bit within the next 30 days. Only registered users will be able to read the forums and only providers with an APPROVED PROFILE will be able to access the escorts forum. We are also considering other changes so please continue to provide your feedback.

The best place to hide anything is right put in the open.

"Members-only" isn't a safety feature. It's a marketing term. Please don't let perceived exclusivity lull you into a false sense of privacy. On any given board, no matter how stringent the vetting process is it can and will eventually be infiltrated. When you try to keep people out that doesn't take away their desire to get in. It makes them want in even more. Inspires them to figure out how to 'beat the system'. It's the internet folks, where faking your credentials is as easy as turning on your pc.

What's to hide anyway? We shouldn't be saying anything we need to hide. Ever. Not in person, not in emails, not in private messages....you get the idea. If we're not saying anything we shouldn't be saying then there's no reason to skulk around in secret. It only makes us look guilty.

As far as escort-only sections are concerned, they're not exactly Ft. Knox either. Their integrity is easily compromised. Every tool is a weapon if you hold it right. There is no such thing as a completely private board. When posting to any provider-only forum it's wise to write the post as if it were visible to the person you're writing it about. Stick to the facts in a neutral tone and that's it. If you just can't contain yourself and feel like ranting go word vomit all over waiterrant.com or some other similar site where you can cry anonymously.

There is no greater advertising medium than the internet. It was created and still exists as a means of making information accessible to as many viewers as possible. It's a giant global marketplace people use to peddle their wares. You can find almost anything online. Except sanctuary.

I feel the reviews should be members only as with the forum boards as well.
The site would gain more members if they did it that way & it would give us just a little more privacy.

They don't ask providers anything, I found my ad had been on their site for over 10mths before I finally joined... People would google my number & naughty reviews website would show up & link them to click & they would find one of my ads on thier site. I really didn't appreciate people being able to talk about me on this site when I wasn't involved in any way. I read a guys post a few minutes ago that he felt the ads from providers that weren't updated were because the provider is possibly LE. So this is why I am speaking out. And I feel it's a safety issue, so guys u may see a girls pic & profile on here but she may have no idea about it. Naughty review might be pissed that I'm sharing this information as they probably feel they helped me, but instead I recieved threats from guys who said they would giv me a bad review on here & make sure no one on here would see me if I did not do what they wanted.... and one guy wanted it for free....it was either good review/ or bad review....I don't adhere to threats as they have found out... I figured what cud they really say about me? I have even found a fake review of me on ter. Lets help to make this safe for all parties involved. Some girls seem to need to advertise on so many sites, Why? If you give good service why is it neccessary to be everywhere? I was very happy for a year just advertising on one site. Now I deal with threats.
