Sex Trafficking Nationwide Bust including Phoenix but look at results

Another local/FBI roundup based on trafficking hysteria was just completed 2/6/2012 that lasted 10 days and included Phoenix. Called "National Day of Johns Arrests." And used website like backpage to sting.

No report yet on Phoenix. Chicago Cook County Sheriff lead agency and a repeat of the October 2011 same round up with similar results – so few trafficking or pimp charges but that is the excuse that gets good media to save the women from “prostitution slavery”.

In hotels and brothels, and via the Internet over a 10-day “johns” were arrested and charged in a multi-state effort targeting sex traffickers.

Nationally 565 arrests including
314 men for solicitation
227 "misdemeanor arrests (includes prostitution) - I assume females
2 human trafficking cases
5 pimping arrests
3 pandering
4 theft
10 drugs
12 weapons

667 total charges
114 vehicles towed
Up to $474,300 “may be collected in fines.”)

The Cook County Sheriff's Office has taken the lead in coordinating the nationwide sweeps as part of an on-going effort to highlight the role of sex buyers as perpetrators, while providing support for prostituted individuals through its Human Trafficking Response Team (HTRT).

Victims that were prostituted/trafficked during the sweep were offered rescue and restore services by the Cook County Sheriff's Office HTRT, the FBI and other jurisdictional programs

Public awareness around the operation and dissemination of 4,000 "John's School" DVDs was made possible through a grant given by Demand Abolition http://www.demandabolition.org a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund based in Cambridge, MA. Demand Abolition supports the movement to end modern slavery by combating the demand for illegal commercial sex in the United States.

Demand Abolition using the discredited even by Canada judges’ the claims of anti sex Melissa Farley:
• “Men who buy the bodies of others for sex differ from non-sex buyers in their self-reported likelihood to rape; they acknowledge having committed significantly more sexually coercive acts against women.
“On the face of it, the prostitute has agreed to it. But deeper down, you can see that life circumstances have kind of forced her into that…It’s like someone jumping from a burning building. You could say they made their choice to jump, but you could also say they had no choice.”
• Buyers are far more likely than non-buyers to commit substance abuse, assaults, weapons, and crimes against authority.
• Men know what they’re doing. Two thirds of buyers and non-buyers recognize that a majority of prostituted women are lured, tricked, or trafficked into “the life.”
• Buyers of sex justify their behavior by declaring that prostituted women are essentially different from non-prostituted women.
• Compared with non-buyers, significantly fewer buyers (70 to 46 percent) report that they were taught about respect for women in sex education classes.

This kind of tactics result in funding for zillions of anti-sexwork organizations and give FBI/LE the excuse to go after in private consenting adults (legal in most all the world except the U.S.) that has nothing to do with "trafficking".

It's just propaganda for publicity about the things they don't do. It's bullshit for people to read and it makes it look like the FBI is doing something about nothing. It will never be legal nationwide in the States because that would keep their jails and prisons underfilled. People in this country are so controlled and mind wiped that they don't know what the hell is going on. They don't read and what they do read they can't see through it. If people had a little knowledge about what this world has been about the last 15,000 years they might walk around a little better without their heads up their asses. It's your life, Dave. But nobody's listening. You're a good guy but this is useless. You're banging your head against the wall. I used to. Until I finally made a big enough hole and escaped.

The problem is lots of arrests are going on in Phoenix after huge investigations taking 6-18 months of police undercover work, then Courtrooms full, prosectors pushing for felonies etc.

More busts in the last week in Phoenix.

About 150 now in the Court system, or pled to felonies in just 3 cases. VERY aggressive proscutor same one as DD case now on the two other active cases.

My view is the public needs to find these waste of resorces by keeping it as visible as possible as if the truth about resources used that have nothing to do with the "children and trafficking" hype and is not a legal issue in most of the rest of the world for in private consenting adults.

One gal recently had her children taken away by CPS just because she faces felony charges as a massage person, many can't get jobs with their arrest records, some assigned attorney's aren't even returning phone calls from their "clients" and in recent case the judge refused to allow her a new laywer.

One gal has a job offer in her prior home in CA but not allowed to travel out of state and can't rent or get even the lowest paying job with her pending case.

The crime? Often its because someone offerred a hand release at a massage parlor, "Temple" etc. Even with no evidence of anything some defendants did they face felony on record for life because of association/employee of a massage parlor, Temple etc.

I know I have had a big mouth for decades but continue to believe the public needs to find the other side besides "children and trafficking" and wasted resources vs going after real crime like REAL children trafficking - in rare cases actually exists. But to after it for "kidnapping" and other crimes not using sexwork and the excuse to go after them bringing in mostly in private consenting adults.
