I would cross reference the info in the ads with a Google search at the very least. If there phone # comes up with a corresponding web page or escort profile, the girl is more likely legit. Definitely check to see if they have reviews as well.

There's no way to know for sure if an ad is a set-up or not, but you should at least do the proper research to minimize the possibility of getting burned.

question,

answered ads in backpage, citipage, always go onto age verification, ads you to an adult dating site, for $34.95, then half to cancelle it, and then never hear from the escort, what gives with this, how do I get an escort without all this wasted bullshit?

There's a lot of spam on those pages. A general rule of thumb is if there is no phone number or other form of legitimate contact then the ad is a scam. Don't bother with the ads that don't trust any site that makes you pay to get in touch with the girl because it's a scam. Google search phone numbers for additional info, check reviews, and ask around but never sign up for a verification site unless it's datecheck.com, p411 or rs2k...the rest are bs.

Thanks Hard as steel

The ads were citipapper, the escort wrote back several times, took the age verification, then it automatically billed me on datelinknetworks.com, a dating site for 34.95, and never heard from the escort after she wrote and asked me for age verification.

I guess the good news is that you only lost 35 bucks. As I mentioned above, don't trust anyone trying to get you to verify through anything other than those three sites I mentioned above.

I have seen the ads and all I can say is cross reference them unless you already got the 411 on them from else where.
